Hello everyone. Spotted a wheelchair accessible Pacifica today. First one I've seen of this generation. Seems this one had a hard life as a crash test vehicle! Looks like the side impact did a number on it but the passenger compartment looks decent. I wasn't able to see if it was crashed in the back as well, but it was interesting to see!

Actually I own one! A VMI conversion I bought in March. Unfortunately I've had problems with the conversion (but not the van itself) since the day I brought it home -- the passenger door (where the ramp extends) didn't want to close (fixed), then the door didn't want to open, then the ramp didn't want to extend consistently. I seem to have gotten a conversion lemon, since I haven't seen anyone complaining about the VMI conversion on-line. The company from which I bought it (Mobility Works, Clermont, FL) has been very good about trying to solve my problems, and last week they called and said that VMI is going to replace my van with a brand new one because of the conversion problems! You can't beat that for customer service!

By the way, I love the Pacifica. I drive it from my power wheelchair using an EZ Lock system to lock the wheelchair in place. There's plenty of room to maneuver my wheelchair in and out of the van, and it drives like a dream. Also, turning corners takes significantly less effort than it did in my old Town & Country conversion.

Sorry to hear about the VMI conversion. I have a Braun (5th One) but am probably going VMI on the next one.

I'm fortunate in that my wheelchair comes completely apart and is easily dis/assembled at the sliding door, and since my injury is in my brain, not my spinal cord, I can operate the pedals just fine.

Safety, super-awareness, and lower speeds really help. My grandma had no awareness and had a horrible accident she caused. I'm not saying that that's what happened here.

That is the actual color? You didn't alter it with photo software?
Hahaha, that's the actual color. I wish I could tell you it was a joke.
