Haha, vdubpower, I think it might just be you! We listen almost exclusively to XM and ours occasionally drops at certain traffic lights (which seems weird) plus all the usual "expected" places like tunnels or in our garage, but otherwise is as solid as any other XM radio we've had over the years. I love the repeat function that lets us replay favorite songs.I guess it may just be me
I'd say you definitely have a problem with the radio. My Pacifica is my 5th Chrysler van, all have been equipped with SIRIUS radio, and I've never experienced a freeze up as you describe. Having said that I hope I didn't jinx myself.I understand loss of signal while in tunnels and underpasses... But my situation of the system freezes completely. If I switch it back to FM. No problem.. Back to xm.... Freezes or serially delayed.
Hi vdubpower,I guess I'll be of to the dealership soon... Might as well get my first oil change while I'm there.
Also my cigarette lighter plug won't work. We took a trip and my radar was working fine on way going. On way back wouldn't work.. No power to cigarette lighter. So frustrating
I have a rental Pacifica because mine has been to the dealer 5 times now in the first month for problems with the screen freezing and seat motor issues. The rental does the exact thing you are describing, has about a 1 min delay when trying to switch Sirius stations, but FM works fine. So, so frustrating. I'm ready to call mine a lemon and call it a day with PacificaI understand loss of signal while in tunnels and underpasses... But my situation of the system freezes completely. Besides the dropouts, I can't tolerate the blathering of some of the disc jockeys either: Rather pop in a flash drive with over 3000 songs and let them randomly play.I cannot tolerate the dropouts any more, definitely when the trial period is over I am not going to pay for service that drops out. I have learned all the spots for dropping out and just like clockwork - BINGO! I think a lot of it is tied to CELL Sites and we have a lot here in the Bay Area. Sorry Cousin Brucie.

I agree. I have had 3 Sirius XM radios with Chrysler vans and all worked just fine, including the one in my Pacifica Touring L+I'd say you definitely have a problem with the radio.
