Windshield wiper rubbers - can they be replaced?
On my Acura TSX, Acura made available the wiper rubber so I didn't have to replace the entire wiper blade. I don't see that only the rubbers are available as an OEM part for the Pacifica. Is there such a thing? I do see that the wiper blades are available but that would be a waste of money and resources to replace the entire blade. If not OEM, anyone know of aftermarket rubbers that do not require trimming? Thank you.

I spoke to the local parts department and was told Chrysler does not offer wiper refills (and that other manufacturers don't do that anymore, which isn't true). I found this answer frustrating because most Asian manufacturers still offer this. Not only is the cost usually 50% less for the refills it results in a lot less waste.
Needless to say I went and checked the rear blade and I was able to pull the rubber out of the blade and put it back in without issue. This makes me think you'd just need to find the correct length from another manufacturer.

Slightly off this topic - I love the van but I'm definitely not a fan on Chrysler so far. They seem to force customers into more expensive parts options, first the wiper blades and then smartkeys. I can't believe they have it setup so you can't reprogram smartkeys.

So I looked at mine, what the dealer told you is BS.
I'm not sure who makes those wiper arms, but they are the same exact arms that are on my Lexus, and the same exact arms that were on my Kia Sedona. So, they're clearly made by some third party company.

These inserts are definitely replaceable, I just bought new inserts from Lexus for them for my LS and replaced them, its very easy.
I would try another Chrysler dealer, or get the sizes and see if you can buy them online from a Lexus parts source (if they have vehicles with the same sizes)

Thank you. Yes, I think there are aftermarket rubber inserts/refills that will fit. When I'm ready I will just take the rubber to the auto parts store and compare it to what they have. As long as the size and notches match OEM, I think that should be fine. But you never know with some of these manufactures - they may put the notch in some weird spot that is not standard. This is my first Chrysler so I don't know if they do that sort of thing.
I will say, I have tried every rubber insert out there and every wiper blade out there, no blades work as well as those OEM blades.
The blades have two metal strips that slide out of the old insert and into the new insert to give it the rigidity to go back into the arm. The inserts come floppy and loose. I don't think just any insert will work.

FWIW, over the many years, I have noted that replacing only the rubber insert frequently (but not always) is unsatisfactory. Apparently the metal carrier wears at the flip-flop pivot and the blade then fails to perform that task, leaving me with poor visibility in the rain. My personal safety is more important than a few dollars every six months.
Buy from Walmart if you want to save money. They have a pretty good selection across the price/quality spectrum.

There is no "flip flop pivot", these are simple J lock wiper blades, all the wiper arm is is a metal frame, that metal frame doesn't wear out, not does it "flip flop" or "pivot"

You miss what I said earlier on. These wiper blades are not made by Chrysler, they are a third party manufacturer. They are the exact same wiper blades that I had on my 2010 Lexus ES350, 2013 Lexus GS350, 2015 Lexus LS460 and 2017 Lexus LS460L as well as my 2015 Kia Sedona. So, while I've only replaced the blades on the Pacifica once I have replaced them on those other cars many times. I'll throw some fuel on the fire here, I just went ahead and replaced ours with a fancy Michelin beam type wiper from Walmart. They work great so far! And they look uber cool, because as a minivan owner, that's important to me. They work great even at very high speeds.
You'll find that they won't last the way the OEM ones do, start skipping, etc.

I already started a thread on this a while back, but if anybody discovers what Trico / Anco / whateverco wiper refill inserts work, everybody here would bow down to you.

Found the same thing with the Ody. Ordered the inserts for $5 and they came mailed all curled up and floppy in a small envelope. The 2 metal ribs are the key. No problems before. This will be the problem now though to find which ones fit with the proper end notches and rib slots.I have replaced the rubber inserts in these specific wiper arms many, many times and have never experienced any issues.

Went with the Michelin beam type ones and had the same problem.You'll find that they won't last the way the OEM ones do, start skipping, etc.

The Pacifica has a 26" driver wiper and a 20 inch passenger wiper. Same size wipers as a 2010-2018 Lexus GX460. So, stop in to a Lexus dealer and buy wiper inserts for a 2010-2018 Lexus GX460 and you'll have your inserts. $7.50 each.

You can get 2 pieces of wiper blade refill for under a buck on eBay. They come from china and take a few days to get here, and work just fine for me on my other cars. Haven't had to replace the wiper blades on my Pacifica yet, but shouldn't be too difficult. Takes a little bit of work to put it on since they don't make it easy to change the wiper blade refills. In fact, I couldn't find the blade refills at any auto parts stores or walmart/target , you have to buy the whole blade and a pair of them can cost $20-40 easily.
The refills are very easy to replace, not difficult at all.
I prefer galoshes to rubbers.
They give me more protection.
