Was Your Battery Replaced Under Recall?

They didn't swap the battery. Would low coolant cause a POE15? Wondering if I should just add some, or let Chrysler look at it. Just seems strange it happened after they had it.
Go to your van and turn it to run without pressing the brake.(make sure it's plugged in while doing this) then turn on the heater and check the "hybrid" window on the uconnect screen. Is there power being drawn by the climate system?

well that is good.. hmm it could technically be low coolant but the coolant they use in our vans is a special type. I wouldn't recommend just going to autozone or whatever and buying it. You need to buy the mopar brand that it says on the lids. (at least that is what I've done)
Wonder where it went. No spots in the garage. I will ask Chrysler tomorrow if they checked or changed the coolant during their recall testing. It failed a couple of times before it passed. Seems like they would have checked basic things like coolant levels if it failed for unknown reasons.

Why did you need to buy some?

Well the POE15 code / check engine light came on and went off a few times for a day, but has been off all yesterday and today. So, I don't know if the update had anything to do with it or not. I haven't added any coolant yet either, so that isn't the issue either.

I was one of the "lucky" ones to need a battery replacement. 2 days after I got it back I got the maintenance light for the hybrid system (not the engine check light). Code reader shows coolant warnings. 2 of the tanks are way way above MAX - almost to the cap. The third (smallest of the three) is almost empty. Decided to just take it back to them to deal with it. While there I was informed I should not be surprised if I get called back to redo the entire Z11. Apparently there is the possibility of an update to the procedure that will require everyone to get it done again...

So, is the coolant levels connected some how? I think you are the 3rd person including myself to notice the levels are off after you got it back.

Interesting that they said everyone may have to have it done again. I haven't heard that before. My dealership doesn't have indoor charging and with the temp below 50 now, do they plan to ship it somewhere else to run tests again.

Dealer informed me the coolant tanks are NOT connected. One is for the battery, one for the generator, one for the radiator. They maxed my battery tank out. guess I'll wait for the call back for z11 part deux.

I did a quick skim and plan to fully read it when I have time. From what I can tell they added some extra road operation and information about the service light
I think they updated the BPCM flash, this is news to me:
ALERT: Performing the BPCM flash will illuminate and continuously flash
the Hybrid Electric Vehicle System Service lamp located in the instrument
panel cluster. Every step in the Z11 BPCM Integrity Procedure MUST be
completed in order to turn the flashing service lamp off.
Do not return the vehicle to the customer if the service lamp is flashing.
(Figure 1).
This seems to force the dealer to perform the integrity tests after the flash otherwise the CEL will continuously flash, presumingly preventing them to return the vehicle.

I got the Z11 recall done on our 2018 PacHy. Took them three days. No battery replacement. I did get a rental. The van was neither fully charged, nor refilled when I picked up. I told them about the full tank and they apologized and fueled it up.

I have driven a bit since and it drives the same and I seem to get the same range as before the recall.

As a side note: The rental was a late mode Voyager and I hated how it drove. Makes me appreciate the PacHy even more...

Back at the dealer for the third time. Got the battery coolant circuit fault code tank is low again. I'm not seeing an external leak but I'm getting really frustrated. Hopefully dealership can figure it out quickly. Definitely not a "burp" issue as I filled it the first time it went low and kicked the light on.

I got my recall done Thursday. Supposed to take 2 days but took 3 hours. I knew the battery needed to be discharged so I dropped it off with 10%. Got it back with 10%. Pretty sure no charging or discharging took place. All they did was a software update. I don't think they have a charger or the right tools. I will check charge rate tonight. Edit: Still charges at 27.2 A at 240 = 6.6 kW.
This makes me very unsure that the recall was done correctly. Reading this, it certainly wasn't:

Not sure what to do at this point. A fire risk needs to be dealt with thoroughly.
New NHTSA document out about the recall. Sounds like Chrysler is reading the riot act to its dealers who are not doing the recall correctly. Basically saying that Chrysler can tell if you didn't do it correctly, and you need to get the customers back and do it correctly or your dealership could be in peril. Here is the link.

Chrysler Incomplete Recall Email
Update: After I called Chrysler Cares in Canada, the dealer called me back to say that they needed the car back in to redo the recall. It took 2 days and they provided a loaner and were going to fill up my gas tank but I told them not to bother because it was 7/8 full anyway. The car seems to run OK. I will update after driving for a few weeks.

UPDATE: dealer says no leaks found. Claim they pressure tested system and it held so it must have been trapped air. I'm not fully convinced this thing has that big of an air pocket in it. I've added almost a half gallon of coolant over the last two weeks since my battery replacement. I have called FCA and they replied with a message that they have been in contact with the dealer. I guess I'll have to keep an eye on it. I'm not satisfied with the results and to be honest I don't understand why it wasn't vac-n-filled after the batteries were replaced it's common practice in the repair world. Maybe I'm being petty but this is quickly becoming a 30k regret.

Finally got fix for Z11. Coolant was below MIN after the fix, so I asked them to fill it up. The dealership said that Chrysler provide s2 years for oil change and tire rotation free of charge, and this information will be assigned to my VIN somehow.
But I got another issue with my car after that service - some strange grinding noise near the lock of the right sliding door. This noise appears only when I unlock my car when car is on and it doesn't appear when I do the same when car is off.
Dealership said that this is not related to the repair which was done, and that it was just a coincidence that it broke during the service.
From my perspective it looks strange, that I got this problem right after the service, while I didn't have any problem with that lock before.

Does anyone have the same problem after fix for Z11?
