I have search far and wide for any description of how to replace the power motor strut on a Pacifica, and come up completely empty. I can't believe no one has ever had to do this at this point (8 years after the model intro), so I thought I'd ask here to see if anyone has DIY'd this.
I managed to pop the lower connection off the stud without noticing until I had closed the hatch manually, and in the process pulled out and broke at least one of the wires on the lower end of it. I am assuming I'll need to replace it, unless I can somehow repair it. Is there anyone out there that has done this? Are there any gotchas? Is there any reprogramming or calibration that needs to be done if a new part is installed?
If this posting results in no help, I'll turn it into a how-to the best I can. Thanks for any pointers you can give me.
