Has anyone else had any issues with steering? In a parking lot with steering wheel turned all the way in one direction usually all the way to the left with no acceleration steering will vibrate/shutter as it turns out of a parking spot. I’m at the dealership for the third time this morning because they haven’t been able to duplicate it the previous two times. Hopefully will get to ride with mechanic today

Yes yes yes!!!! We have the same issue with our 2018 touring plus . However Chrysler says there nothing wrong and can not reproduce the issue even though it happens every day. Been the the dealer 3 time with no positive outcome. I hope more people come forward so they can take action
Mine does the same thing occasionnaly.. It happen often in the drivethru. When i have to turn hard left, and im a bit climbing in a angle, the wheels seems to shake with all his assembly. Last only while i reposiyion my wheel straight.. I did not see my dealership about it, But i will now!!
My wife was at the dealership all day yesterday. They have been able to duplicate it with us riding with them showing them how to make it do it. So yesterday they replace the lower ball joint on the driver side, which I knew it wouldn’t fix it. And it didn’t fix it. Then they did something to the top of the strut on the drivers side. They drove it and said they couldn’t get it to do it. My wife drove off and the next place she parked 10 minutes later it did it again. I called and spoke with the service manager and he said they can’t fix it if they aren’t able to duplicate it on a normal basis. I said you have already duplicated it twice and I’m telling you it’s still doing it. So I have attempted to contact Chrysler and we will see what they say. I’m not a mechanic but I’m not mechanically stupid either. I knew it would’nt be a strut or a ball joint issue those components are more of an up down movement. This is a steering side to side type of movement that you can feel in the steering wheel. It does it while pulling in or out of a parking spot at maybe 2 or 3 mph. It’s not going to be a strut issue or ball joint issue. It’s going to be the rack and pinion or the cv joints. But I can’t make them change them out because what I say has no value to the dealer. I can guarantee one thing I will never own another Chrysler or any of their other brands either. I was getting to buy a truck and was going to get a RAM but I would never buy anything they produce.
So it happened to me again today while navigating a parking lot and a gas station. And I noticed the vibration happens before the steering wheel reaches the lock completely. Not sure what the cause is but it is more of an annoyance than anything else. Also I’m just worried that the system isn’t working as intended and may eventually fail :(
