For those rocking a new 2021, How do you like the output of the new LED lights??

I am also pleased with all of the new LED lighting. It is a huge improvement over the downgraded halogen when I went from my T&C HID back to the PacHy Limited trim in 2018.

Although I have never stood in front of the van and confirmed this, from what I can see from the driver's seat, the fog lights and the side lights are one in the same. If you have the fog lights on, you don't get any additional side light when you turn. When the fog lights are off, however, the side lighting is activated by either the turn signal or turning of the wheel (at low speeds). As someone who ran fog lights all of the time in my 2018, the wider lighting of the fog lamps, coupled with the automatic side-lighting behavior has led me to drive without fog lamps activated.

The "side lighting" is nothing more than activation of the fog lights. Nothing new or exciting there, but it's useful. Turn your fog lights on and you will have that light on any time your low beams are active (for whatever reason, they deactivate with high beams which I disagree with... they still add useful side lighting, especially on rural roads).

The LEDs on 2021 are excellent. I have owned a lot of newer vehicles, and these headlights are easily top 3.

I'm quite certain that fog lights do nothing for visibility, and are only there for manufacturers to upsell for aesthetics anyways. This has been the case with every vehicle I've ever driven or ridden in for the last 30+ years. I've never driven a vehicle at night (in any conditions), turned on the fog lights, and thought to myself "Wow, I can actually see better now!"

Fog lights are not designed to be deer spotters. They are designed to have a very low cut-off to prevent fog reflected glare back to the driver. The good ones do spill more light to the side, which aids in staying on the road in very dense fog. Spotting deer is a bonus.

I've had a couple of occasions in Door County Wisconsin to drive in dense fog. The fog lights on the Pacifica work very well for that purpose. I really could see better with them.

We love the lights on out 21’ limited awd, hands down the best factory lights we have had in our vehicles. This was well thought out by Chrysler, no comparison to the outgoing models lights.
Good to hear that. I look forward to getting a 2021 later this year when my lease expires.

My 2018 Limited HID lights are decent but not great. I've driven a Touring and the lights are pretty mediocre.

According to the feature matrix, all Pacificas have the same lights.

So, had the first chance to drive the van under darkness yesterday to experience the 2021 LED lights. They are quite simply stunning. The lights are a very crisp white color, and throw light really, really well. The cornering lights (driven off the fogs) are a neat touch and do assist visibility.

Coming from a 2018 and 2020, the lights are a vast improvement - but that is to be expected with the halogen to LED move. Nice of Chrysler to put the same lights across the whole model line up.
