I purchased extended warrant (up to 5 years) at initial purchase when new. Expired in Jan 2023. Right after expiry I notified the dealer of paint bubbling at both doors. They said it’s up to the company’s decision to honour their warranty. Never heard back from the positive or negative despite repeated requests (yes this is frustrating).
My argument is that it takes years for paint issues like those to develop. Is it reasonable to assume that this was in place during warranty? Should Chrysler take ownership of this problem? Any thoughts.
