Crankshaft Position Error, safe to drive?

Hello, we have a 2017 Pacifica that on the last hour of our trip decided to turn on the check engine light. I brought it to the local auto parts store today and they checked the computer and it says it's the crankshaft sensor. We need to leave Monday morning to get back home, and it'll be a 6 hour drive. Would it be safe to do so? The van is running fine as far as I can tell, there is no obvious problems. I just don't want to get stuck in the middle of nowhere if there's a chance this can progress.
Well did yes clear the cods? If the van is running fine drive it and see if the code will reappear if not don't worry. Yes I do have a 2017 Pacifica Limited with 60,000 + miles with no major problems so far.
