Well, it depends. The floor is low and flat and the sliding doors give a wide entrance. So that’s good. However, in his last year or so, my 40lb Spaniel could not get in unassisted, he needed some help with his back legs. In his younger days, three feet up into the back of a Jeep wasn’t even a challenge. So it depends on the size of the dog and what shape they are in. I can’t think of an easier type of car for them to get in and out of.
Thanks 2 labs, around 85 lbs. They, too could jump into back of gmc suv with no problem. The both have arthritis from elbow surgery as pups so can't pull themselves in and their rears are are getting weaker with time. I saw a pacifica at a dog show and thought it looked great
We have several ramps inside the house, but my girl is afraid of the angle getting into the back. That is why I thought a van with lower ground clearance would work. Thanks
