Front Brake Pins different

I ordered some Raybestos front brake slider pins (part #H15305). When I compare them to the OEM pins they appear to be different. Attached is a photo, the OEM pin on the left and the Raybestos pin on the right. The OEM pin has a little piece of rubber out near the end of the pin whereas the Raybestos one does not. The diameter of the two pins at this point is obviously different as one has rubber and one does not.

Has anybody used these Raybestos pins before? Did I purchase the wrong ones by mistake? Why are they so different? Can I use the Raybestos pins?

Those pins are correct and will work fine. It may seem strange, but it's very common for aftermarket guide pins to not include the rubber parts. You just need to transfer the rubber parts over from the original parts. If you don't have them or they must be replaced, they're usually included with the corresponding guide pin boot kit as is the case here (Carlson p/n 16203).
