Recently took a two week trip from Minnesota to Washington state, total of over 4100 miles.
Our 2025 Pacifica PHEV Platinum made the trip very comfortable. The nicest part was how the van handles the mountain passes. It had plenty of power to climb up and total control when going downhill in “L” transmission mode, almost never had to use the brakes and didn't have to poke along at 20-30 mph either
. In fact, we left it in L for the entire trip. My best experience making this drive, and I’ve made it several times, in various minivans, over the course of 40 years.

They are fun to drive, especially in the mountains. While others struggle to get up the grades, the Pacifica hybrids don't even flinch.

I'll be making a similar drive in a few days: NW Indiana to the Portland OR area. It is a long drive, but comfy in the Pacifica. And getting 32mpg? Yes, please!

I do a lot of mountain driving here in Colorado. I just wish it had a "medium" low gear (like second vs. 1st). That way I could maintain speed on downhill slopes without needing to use the accelerater.
