Are they perhaps some sort of straps? They almost look like seat belt holders or something? Maybe it was used to transport packages or something and they'd fold the middle seats down? I've personally never seen them though. They perhaps could also be for some disability thing because I've seen some pretty extreme customization on vans as they make excellent transport for people in wheel chairs.

 

If they are attached to the roof structurally, that was a major modification. You might be able to find their mounting screws and remove them. I'm guessing it either held a privacy curtain, or it could hold an IV bag. But it suggests the van was used for medical transport or other commercial use. I'd stay away.

My wife and I are looking to get back into a 2019 Touring L Pacifica. The one we are looking at has these weird rails inside on the ceiling. The dealer has no idea what they were for and didn't ask previous owners. View attachment 60953

Does anyone have any ideas? I don't want to buy it if its some harbor freight hack. But if its a mopar accessory thats different. I have not been able to find any examples or kits that look like this.

Some people travel long distances and hang their clothes up so they don't get wrinkled in suitcases. If you're really serious try and find the name of the other owner maybe an old registration insurance slip in the glove box and try and get a hold of them and ask

Ahhh c'mon now some people may personalize or modify things a little bit sometimes that's where you can get the deals

 

It might be an accessory to aid in mobility? Is the vehicle lifted/lowered?
