Those numbers are normal. I have seen higher when I drove in 100 degree heat in Vegas. When I am towing I routinely see numbers that high.

 

Been driving over 65 years,many different kinds of vehicles.Never had a engine oil temp guage,never worried about it.What do you surmise what you can do to control that temperature?

 

The only vehicles I’ve been in were light airplanes with an oil temp guage,and they were air cooled ,and ideal temps were in the 245 to 250 range.Had several early VW’s which were air cooled also with no oil temp guage .Being we got the awesome amount of gauges on our cars tend to phyche us out at times.

 

Nothing of concern for a good synthetic oil.
