Yikes, I wish I had seen this before I dropped my 2018 PHEV at the dealer for the 73B recall today. I only have ~47k miles on it though (lots of local driving).

Interestingly, prior to performing the 73B service, I had the U0412 code come up a month or two ago, after we had parked the vehicle outside for a while (and it saw some sub-freezing temps for a few days)... this also coincided with the oil life indicator going from fairly high (~70%) straight to 0%. I reset it back to 100% and it's been working properly since then.

I tried clearing the codes with my Autel diagnostic tool (I didn't subscribe to AutoAuth, just used the generic DTC scan function) and it seemed to eliminate the check engine light but it came back on again after a few weeks. The codes are shown below in case it's interesting to anyone.

Anyway, we'll see what happens at this recall service! They're also performing the Y40 service, not sure what that's going to do...

And perhaps expectedly, the dealer followed up this afternoon to let me know the check engine light (I'm assuming the U0412 and P1A01 codes) is "related to the recall and we cannot fix the recall until the check engine light is addressed". They're telling me it's covered under warranty, so I guess I'm lucky I'm below 100k miles still, but man this sounds like it'd be an expensive nightmare if not for the warranty.

I just got mine back the day after drop off for the 73B recall. The paperwork I got back states:
"Found vehicle to pass the pre-check and was directed to update the BPCM. Flashed BPCM from 68394027AK to 68394027AL and confirmed no DTC's after updating. Drove vehicle to level 2 charger and started the integrity procedure's 7hr sleep. Returned to integrity procedure after sleep cycle, found to pass integrity procedure. Recall complete, battery is not in need of replacement."

This leads me to believe nothing was done to investigate the U0412 code. I had successfully cleared the CEL with my Autel tool a month or two ago but the CEL eventually came back, so like others here I'm guessing I'll be dealing with the same U0412 CEL on and off thing until the next recall... But I'm at least under the warranty for the HV system so I guess I'll keep bothering the dealer each time it comes on. Maybe if those visits cost Stellantis enough money they'll figure out why it's happening.

I've had the U0142 code after 73B and have had the check engine light turn on and off at various times over the past month or two. Just dropped it off at the dealer to have a look at it.
I know an engineer at Stellantis who owns one of these as well, and while they're not directly involved with this issue, they're pretty sure someone there screwed up the recall software and now the control module is reporting bad information during what are probably routine events, e.g. going to or coming out of sleep mode. I still left it with the dealer to make sure it's well documented while under warranty, even though it doesn't sound like a fix is available yet. And the more people that do this will hopefully mean more warranty costs that might drive them to expedite a fix.
