I am looking for one thing and one thing only in this next set of tires I am needing to buy now: the softest, most cushy smooth ride possible.
Not interested in long wear, handling, etc.

i have always had good luck with Michelin tires, but would like your thoughts on which Michelin model to buy and or your thoughts on any other brand that will do as good a job as possible of making the bumps in the road go away.

The vehicle came with Bridgeton Taranza tires 235 60 18s. I don't think Bridgeton is known for a great ride, more for longevity?

Thanks for your thoughts.

Best way to soften up the ride is to have smaller wheels. You'll get the softest ride on a set of 17" wheels and 235/65R17 tires. I've heard that the Michelin Primacy MXV4 is a smooth ride standard. I have 235/60R18 Continental TrueContact Tours (on 18" wheels) on our Limited and love them.
