Upgrading my Wheels and Tires

Hi All,
Just got a new Pacifica Limited and I will be using the stock 18's it came with for the winter, and then buying aftermarket wheels and tires for the summer. Here is what I'm planning on running. (If you have any comments on whether or not this size won't fit or look good, I'm open to your opinions!)

Wheels are "OE Creations" Jeep Trackhawk Replicas PR181. 20"x9" with 34mm offset.

I'm planning on running a 255/45R20 tire, which is the exact OD of the stock 18" tire it came with, but with a little more width. I've decided to go with Goodyear Eagle A/S based on excellent reviews and my prior positive experience with aftermarket Goodyear tires. Based on my calculations the 255 should fit with the wider 9" wheel, but I would appreciate any experience you all may have from your own similar setup. I'm curious that with a 9" wheel and these wider tires, if there will be any rubbing on the fender or wheel liner at full lock or during standard travel of the suspension?

Thanks!

Good looking wheel. You will have plenty of room for that setup.

I went with 265/40-22x9.5 ET35..No rubbing at all and still plenty of room even lowered.

Post pictures when you get it done.
Gorgeous combination. Thanks for sharing your experience and pictures. I will definitely post pictures once I get my setup installed.
Say, what did you purchase for TPMS sensors? Is there anything special I need to look out for?

Hey 3.6,

I’m running a similar tire/wheel setup - matte black 20x9 +35 concept one cs-6’s with Kuhmo ecsta 255/45/20s. Also in the process of lowering it with rsr springs. Looks more aggressive than the original 18” wheels. I was thinking about going 22” but in the end decided to stick closer to more “factory” specs for wear/tear/mileage —- I’ve not been disappointed

I also purchased tpms sensors on eBay as I kept my old rims intact (for sale if someone wants them). They connected immediately and work perfectly - no issues

Hi All. So I got my new wheels and tires and just installed them this past weekend. To say that they fit perfectly is an understatement. The 255 tire with a 9" rim is absolutely perfect! This pushed the rims outwards about an inch and a half, and now the wheel is flush with the edge of the stock flared fenders. It looks absolutely amazing now. But not only does it look good, but the driving characteristics with the new wheels and tires over that of the stock Bridgestones on 18" wheels is astounding! The van handles so flatly now around corners, and the turn in is absolutely amazing. It honestly feels like hundreds of pounds have been shed as it's so responsive. Even my wife was hugely impressed and could notice the difference in handling right away. Here are some pictures if you're interested. As for the colour, I didn't end up getting chrome as I originally thought I was going to get. I ordered a colour called "hyper silver". It is a gorgeous colour and it goes very well with the bright chrome trim on the Limited model without being too "blingy". I'm very pleased.

I just installed 265/60R18 Goodyear Wrangler All-Terrain Adventure tires on Grand Cherokee Trailhawk Wheels on my 2019 Pacifica. They did NOT require any spacers and clear everything just fine. For those that say the TPS for Jeeps won't work, they are wrong, they worked perfectly for me. The tires are bigger so when the speedometer shows 65 the true speed is 68. Overall this is a good way to go if you can find these wheels
