Well....
I loved my 2021 white Hybrid Limited S and only had 1 year left on the lease, and prices aren't getting any cheaper.....so I pulled the trigger on a leftover new lease on a 2022 white Hybrid Limited while the price was right & there was equity in my 2021.
(Prices on the 2023's were higher, with some slight decontenting, and the 2024's were going to be even more)

I'm bummed it doesn't have the S package or the power folding mirrors or a roof rack (standard), and it has the (miserable) H/K sound system.....but it does have the sunroof & the price was right. Beggers can't be choosers in this market though.

I sold the 2021 to Carvana the next day as every dealer low balled me on trade-in even though it had only 10k miles and was in perfect condition.

****, that wood was sexy AF compared to the plastic looking aluminum.
Really? It didn't go with anything else though IMO....since it was just the 3 pieces. 🤷‍♂️

That said....I thought it TOTALLY looked better in the blacked out interior of the '21 with S Package (versus the two tone interior in my 2022):

Swapped over the painted side markers I had from the 2021....

Then I found out the passenger side DRL strip doesn’t look right. It’s not lighting one up/looks brownish/dimmer in the bottom corner closest to the grille:

Does light actually shine through the painted side markers or are they effectively disabled? As for the signature lights it's hard to tell in pictures but it's possible their is a dead LED behind the defuser. I'd get it replaced under warranty.

@snobrdrdan,
Congrats on your gorgeous 22' PacHy Limited. Excellent pictures. Best of luck with your new van:)

I pulled the bulbs, as the light shining thru just didn't look right/good at all.

Yeah there's something up with the DRL strip. The selling dealer wanted me to bring it back to them, but they're like 45 minutes away.
I went to my local dealer and the service guy saw it too, ordered up the new part right away (I was only there for like 5-10 minutes) & said they'd call me when it comes in. So that was easy.

I'm a little concerned that they have to take off the whole front end to swap out the headlight though.

Please report back about the signature light. Mine is the same in the passenger side.

Check engine light came on. I changed spark plugs and the coil packs, since I had the van pretty much disassembled, i changed the oil and flushed my coolant. Now i have to figure out why driving it feels like it's having a seizure.
It wouldn't be so frustrating but when i look back at everything since i bought this van but my dealership increased the purchase price from $22,000 according to the financier's the deal submitted the purchase price as $35,000 so with the interest i will have paid $50,000. The owner of the dealership is in jail since i wasnt the only one he did that to. I have been fight one mechanical problem after another. I'm on the verge of just telling the financial institution to just come and get it! I love Chrysler don't get me wrong but I can't afford the now $712.00 a month payment and paying for repeated shop fees!

They replaced it yesterday.

I cringe at the thought of someone else (especially the punk 20 something year old kid that I saw pulling it back into the bay to work on it) working on my cars, but I didn't have a choice here.
And his "work", along with his lack of pride in his work, showed in the results unfortunately.

A bunch of mars/marks on the paint, dirty hand/grease marks on the white bumper, the bumper cover wasn't pushed in all the way under the headlight, the bumper alignment is off on the passenger side (by the fender), and the belly pan wasn't tucked into the bumper properly (underneath) on the passenger side too.
Ughhhh 🤦‍♂️

But I have a functional/proper working DRL light now, I guess :cautious:

Very nice! I understand what you mean with the market. I let go on the Limited trim for Uconnect 5, self parking and S Appearance. I really wanted moor roof and cooled seats, but the lack of chrome on the S Appearance and 15 speaker Alpine made the ‘21 Touring L worth the trade off

I’d love a hybrid. It would be great for my 1.9 mile commute. Unfortunately, I have to have 2nd row Stow n Go.

I replaced the rear tires and all wiper blades. Bought the van used and before it was put up for sale they replaced the front two tires. The right rear had good tread but left rear was less and didn't match right rear. I had tires installed that were similar to the fronts and kept the right rear. Was too nice to get rid of.

Changed oil & filter on wife's 2018 Pacifica at 55k miles. Was at 41% left. I do this job myself. Refuse to let anyone else do it. The entire job is done standing up; no need to get under the vehicle. Old oil vacuumed out, oil filter changed from top of engine using new rubber ring in correct groove of filter cap, cap carefully tightened back on with less torque than specified, and MS-6395 certified 0W-20 full synthetic poured back. Checked the tiny area that is barely visible at the base of the oil filer housing using a bright flashlight and found shiny metal, not fluid that could be leaking from the oil cooler. Bone dry so far. Engine coolant level at MAX, so no need to top off. Took date-time pics that were developed at Walgreens in an hour for under $2. Receipts for oil & filter, along with pics, filed in 3-ring binder. Also scanned receipts and filed them on my computer, and updated Access database I set up to keep maintenance notes. The documentation often takes about half as long as the job itself.
