2018 Pacifica hybrid with only 6k miles on it. I purchased it November 2024 and it had 4 k miles . Drove it 4 months with zero issues. Only put 2k miles on it and it completely died one day when I went to start it. It’s been at the dealership almost a month . A star report was made by dealership to Chrysler but no word on a fix! I’m stuck in the middle of desert!Had it towed to nearest dealership in Blythe, California from where we were in Quartzite visiting friends.

It had no symptoms it just had a battery service charging warning come on and wouldn’t start. Dealership hasn’t given me information on what code came up. They just said they started a star report with Chrysler. They replaced the 12 volt with a new one. Phone conversations only because I’m stuck in the desert literally camping with no vehicle. I had it towed from campground in Arizona to the closest dealership which is in California. Going on a month now homeless in the desert !!! Seriously we are sitting in the hot desert tent camping with no vehicle. They offered to send me a shuttle from Blythe to Quartzsite so we could at least go to the store! I paid 32k 4 months ago at a different dealership in Bullhead City, AZ but had no idea this would happen. It was closer to tow across to California. I have a service contract on it but it’s a recall problem! Freaking out because my severely handicapped wife and my 7 year old granddaughter are stuck in the desert and no longer live in bullhead city. We were planning on returning back to Ohio slowly camping back that direction waiting on my wife now who was life flighted to a hospital in Vegas! We are living a nightmare!! I can’t afford to get a rental car not knowing how long I can drive one. My service contract says it covers a rental for like a short period but I would have to pay for it then submit for reimbursement! That doesn’t help us at all. Thankfully we are only 3 miles up the road from the town of Quartzite staying in a free dispersed camping area. A few people camping near us has given us a lift to town to get water and groceries. Have no clue how I’m getting my wife when she gets released from the Vegas hospital!!! I have asked the service manager many times about the star report progress and she has been very evasive about it . Another guy keeps telling me if they bug Chrysler too much they will put me at the bottom of the list? It’s getting to the point I feel like I’m bugging them and they kinda act like I’m bugging them!

When I purchased it from the dealer they said not to even plug the thing in until Chrysler has a fix. I purchased the van anyway asking them to throw in a service contract for peace of mind. It drove great until it didn’t lol. The dealership doesn’t care about my service contract they are supposedly following up with the recall and star report? Who knows

Just to confirm.. it was really a 2018 with only 4k miles when you bought it in 2024? I just ask because something is off with that. Like.. how does a vehicle like a minivan go for this many years and only get so little miles put on it? I wonder if it sat with the battery drained for a really long time or something. My Bolt EV did and I ended up with a full dead battery 6-7k miles from brand new that had to get replaced.

Supposed an old lady drove it transporting her husband to and from his dr appointments in bullhead city. It had a hitch on the back for his wheelchair/ electric scooter!! I had it 4 months in bullhead and I only drive it local and most days driving to the store and back was only 7 mike round trip at most other than one trip to vega

old lady drove her husband in it to the dr from time to time . It had a tow hitch put on it for his electric scooter. Bullhead city driving the average round trip is like 7 miles at most. I lived in bullhead 5 months and it has one road and every store is in a 10 mile round trip radius. Even going across the river to Nevada is a 10 mile round trip. I drove it less than 2000 miles in 4 months living in bullhead and I made a few trips up to Vegas . So the miles check out. Our average daily drive was a 7 mile round trip and I drove it almost every day. The old lady story checks out I looked into it !
