Looks like Chrysler is trying to get more sales.

Chrysler is applying the Voyager name to the Pacifica minivan's less-expensive trim levels for 2020.

This brings back a nameplate that used to be applied to Plymouth's version of minivan back in the day.

Production of the 2020 Chrysler Voyager begins in August, and it should cost a bit less than the Pacifica's current starting price of $28,730.

According to the news outlets FCA isn’t going to drop the Caravan. Why would it, it’s the best selling minivan by volume.

The GC is cheap, with even better incentives than the Pac. You could get a cheap one in the low low $20s. That's a lot of car for that price. Plus I see the Postal Service uses them here in Houston, and a lot of commercial uses for them too. Its a better car than the Transit Connect because its got a V6 which can actually haul stuff. Those 4 cylinder euro vans are way underpowered for US use.

While I agree the GC is an aged product, FCA just last year shut down the factory to upgrade the GC line to conform to current safety regulations. And if a family is in the market for a people mover in the low $20s, its probably the only game in town.
