Either one will probably probably last a long time, if the cap torque spec is followed AND whomever is doing the oil change supports the ratchet extension so that sideways force is not applied then the risk goes to almost zero.. When you get your old housing off put it flat on your work table the way it sits on the engine block and put a wrench on the cap and see how a small amount of "sideways" force transfers to tremendous twisting force on the lower body. It is not the actual tightening of the cap it is the oil change monkey pulling the tall neck to the side because he is not properly supporting the ratchet extension and socket. In My Honest Amateur Opinion LOL
