Manual small 3rd row seat will not release back to sitting

2017 Pacifica manual 3rd row seat issue: We had our manual back 3rd row seats in stow. When we went to bring them back up and they lock in place, the smaller one's back will not release to sitting. It seems to be stuck flat. We do not want to try to force it up. Anyone else find this problem & a home fix. Dealer won't be available to talk to until Monday. And who knows if they will have the time to look at it. I ave a trip in a week and hoping to get it fixed.

So you can do this , for illustration purposes only . Lift up flap when your pulling strap to release seat up , then compare it to the side that isn’t releasing . Is your headrest constricting the release . The process is identical for both sides , compare the release side , with flap up slowly , to the side that’s not releasing . Problem solved!!! After more searching I was able to find something stuck in one of the areas that was not allowing the seat to completely open!! An easy fix. thank you
