Pacifica battery drain

I've had my 2017 Chrysler pacifica for 5 years bought it 2 years old. I e replaced the main battery twice and the auxiliary battery twice. All will be fine for about a year to year in a half and they both slowly start losing their charge. I'm tired of constantly replacing these batteries. Is there a recall or bulletin on this issue from Chrysler. I definitely don't want to go to a dealership and spend hundred or thousand...or anything at all.

This seems to be a very common problem on these vehicles and I've read a few different "fixes" for it, such as security module replacement, shifter knob assy replacement, etc.

Can Chrysler cares help guide me to get this fixed. I love the van, hate the battery drainage.

I've owned around 8 vehicles in my lifetime and never had this issue before.

Please help. There are no lights that come on after car is all closed and locked.

My wheelhouse goes about as far as putting a multimeter on the battery to see it's current voltage.

How many miles are on it? What I'm getting at here is these vans need to be driven regularly or kept on a battery maintainer to keep the batteries charged if they aren't driven very often. A well equipped Pacifica can have almost 30 modules so they sip a little more energy when parked than most vehicles.

I think he's talking about the "life expectancy" of the batteries and not the daily parasitic drain?

Seems like these vehicles with high electronic demands the batteries only last 2-3 years

I only get 2-3 years. I still have my 2003 Town and Country Owned since new, 21 years.
I've had to replace the battery every 2 years like clock work. My Diesel ford takes 2 big batteries and
also every 2 years.

Once the batts hit 2 years I start watching out. I replace at 3 years needed or not as part of preventative maintenance.

My Pacifica 2020 is on 2nd set changed last year 2023 so seems right to me.

Although 1.5 years seems a little short. What brand of batteries?
Are these high end batteries or like Walmart batteries.
Always buy the best batteries available, it's worth it.
