Screen off at startup - default? changeable?

Searched to no avail. In short, when i start the 2022 PHEV, the Uconnect is off/black. When i go into reverse, the backup cam starts and screen is on. When going back to drive, the screen is off/black again until i hit the on button.

My question is: is this normal for the screen to be OFF by default? and if so, any way to make it ON by default?

This is a very minor issue, everything seems to be functional etc. Just seems like something the user can/should be able to set.

yeah there is actually. go to the audio settings and go down to radio auto on, off or recall previous (or something like this).

I had the exact same behavior with the backup cam/screen after I toggled it to autostart off (was trying to see what it did) and then switched it back to on. let me know if it works.
You nailed it! I would've never thought to check in Audio! I actually recall turning this to off, because I didnt want the radio turning on - unintended (and unexpected) outcome! THANKS!

ISSUE SOLVED

I can start a new thread, but you might also have the answer to this: why is my "vehicle controls" blank? I also seem to NOT have access to Uconnect services (no SOS button etc). Installed the app and it says "no active subscription". Is that related? Still seems weird to have access to a screen that is BLANK...same behavior in ACC/RUN/P/D/OFF.
