Yep mine popped up like 20 minutes into my drive this morning. Took like 15 minutes to full update. Then had problems with the climate control like many others. Had to do a manual restart (hold power down) on the uconnect. Now working fine as far as i can tell. Now i dont need a microscope to see the temp on the uconnect!

I already did a manual restart (hold power and tune button down for 10 seconds). Home screen fails on Profile 1, it blinks once and then switches to something else (like apps, media, nothing consistent). Home screen works for the new profiles, so I tried deleting profile 1, but selecting delete does nothing and profile 1 is still there. Any thoughts?

Got the update and now CarPlay has stopped working. Disconnects using both WiFi and USB Cable. UConnect sees the phone plugged in and presents the car play icon in the list of devices but CarPlay will never initialize. Anyone else having the issue?

Yep. Go into bluetooth devices, delete your phone(s), and re-pair them. This fixed it for me.

I know I'm late to the party but we just bought a new 2021 pacifica. When we bought the darn thing I knew it didn't have NAV but the dealer assured us that the VR would control the radio just like our 6 year old Chevy. I've gone crazy trying to make it work, finally took it in for service and the dealer took it apart (they didn't even know about this). Come to find out Chrysler cheaped out on the Uconnect in some of the Pacificas. Mine does not have theVR that will control the radio, it also has only one profile available to set up. I think the easy way to tell the difference is there is no microphone showing on the Uconnect display. It's buyer beware just because you get the Uconnect and it has a VR button on the steering wheel don't believe what the dealer tells you unless they prove it to you.

Sorry to dig this up but I just purchased a 2021 PacHy Pinnacle and am seemingly on the older version. Is there no way to force an update? I have tried forcing it over my wifi to no avail.

I am having this issue too, and when I go to Software Update for Uconnect® - Check For Updates and put my vin number in it says no update in available, when I know in fact there is one because you guys have posted the new version number.
@ChryslerCares Can you help us?

I called uconnect and according to them there's a new version it's just not released yet. Was scheduled for Q3 but she says it hasn't been released. Furthermore we'll apparently receive a USB drive in the mail that'll contain it. I'm unsure how much of if any of this is accurate. I'll probably call again this week sometime.

I wonder if this difference is the people with the new version are all Pacifica Hybrids? Mine isn't a hybrid...

My 2021 Hybrid Limited is still on R15.25 and hasn't received the new update. I have an appointment scheduled with the dealership for an unrelated issue in a couple of weeks and will see if they can install the update while I'm there, but it's frustrating that this requires a visit to the dealership.

I just bought a 2021 PacHy Pinnacle on 11/24 and only have one profile. Software Version R16.27. Given that this vehicle was built post R17.89 OTA update, it seems crazy that I don't have the latest version, but it appears that I'm not alone. The Uconnect software update page also says that I'm up to date.

And not sure if it's related to the old software version, but when driving home from visiting family yesterday my Sirius XM's ability to search stopped working (no internet signal) but my XM presets still worked. Very strange and still without an internet signal. I believe for the first few days when I had the car the top of my Uconnect screen had wi-fi arcs between the bell icon and the temperature, but now its just a blank space.

I'm going to give Uconnect support a call and then talk to my dealership, but if anyone in a similar situation has figured this one out, please let me know.

Same issue as you. Taking it in tomorrow to see if service can figure it out. Will update post once I get some info.

Thanks Vysse. I called Chrysler/Uconnect support and supposedly my case is getting elevated to someone that has the authority to send me an update so that I can download and install without having to head into the dealership. the online portal (https://www.driveuconnect.com/support/software-update.html) says that I don't need an update and the customer service rep says that the dealer portal says the same, but I'm on R.16.27, which is clearly out of date, so no clue how both systems show my build being compliant.

Let us know how you make out. Best of luck.

According to the service technician there is definitely an update but they are doing it in waves (select people chosen at whatever reason I guess). I am going to complain to Chrysler about this as this was a feature that was sold with the vehicle (the profiles that is). Pretty ticked off.

Let us know how this goes - I'm on an even older version and still can't receive any updates. If I can avoid a trip to dealership then that would be great.

Well how's that for timing - right after I posted this I got a call from my dealership that there's a new recall for my vehicle and they want me to bring it in for repairs. It's recall number Y25 and is described as this by Chrysler:

We are recommending improvements be performed to your Uconnect radio on certain [2021
(RU) Chrysler Pacifica/Pacifica PHEV and 2021 (WD) Dodge Durango] vehicles.

WHY DOES MY VEHICLE NEED REPAIRS?
The radio in your vehicle requires a software update to fix an issue that is preventing your
vehicle from receiving over-the-air software updates. This can result in customer
dissatisfaction.
I've attached the PDF of the recall notice.

Agreed, 100%. I don't see how van's built post- OTA update don't have the latest version installed but earlier ones. I have an email into my dealer but haven't heard back yet.
