Purchased new PacHy Limited in Dec. On the UConnect app, will I eventually need to pay a subscription fee for the remote functions to work? Eg. remote start, location, lock/unlock? What won't I be able to do if I let it lapse?

Also is there a different thing call SiriusXM Guardian? I saw a couple references to that on this site. Is that a different app altogether?

Yes you will need to. There are different subscription 3 levels to SiriusXM Guardian which give you different security and convenience options. This is separate from a subscription to Sirius radio if you want to maintain Sirius radio. And this is separate from AT&T wifi data. So there are three different subscriptions if you want to keep all the trial features that come with the car.

Ridiculous price to just simply want to remotely start your car and lock/unlock it.
Companies like Ford with their FordPass™️ is offered for FREE.
Not sure why Stellantis doesn’t offer their own in-house instead of needing to use SiriusXM Guardian.

I don’t think that average price for a vehicle is 40 grand that it’s just slightly above median . All manufactures, if I remember correctly , charge for this feature except for Ford . The company can soak the feature into manufacture sigh retail price or solely go it alone as a option after the trial period . Either way your going to pay for it like sirrius radio , hotspot fromAT&T . What about people who pay over 100000 grand for a car and also have to pay for it .
