What’s mileage of the van . And curious have you actually did real world numbers in terms or driving miles instead of relying on the battery indicator.

 

~17k miles. Not sure what you mean by "real world numbers" but the charge added is based on what the Juicebox app (my charger) is reporting to me, and the miles driven is actual miles driven during my commute.

I don't think the PacHy has a degredation warranty like my Leaf.

Data is somewhat hard to parse because I didn't independently keep track of what the battery level was when I plugged it in (until yesterday), so there's a bunch of days when it charged less than 0% to 100%. Charging from 0% to 100% is somewhat rare, as more often than not I'm plugging in the car with partial charge already.

I also didn't get the Juicebox until more than a year after I got my Pacifica, so I don't have charging records for first half of the time I've had the Pacifica.

Yesterday, for sure, it was a 0% to 100% charge session, 1h30m, 9.9kWh.

From what I can tell, it wasn't an immediate drop in capacity. The highest charge added I could find in my history was 12.3 kWh added back in June. Between June and now, the charging sessions from what I would guess are 0% to 100% sessions range from 9 to 12 kWh.

 

My 2017 is just over 3 years old and has 53K miles so far. My Clipper Creek L2 charger doesn't report how many kWh it's adding per charge, but I typically get 25 miles or more of range. I was getting close to 30 miles doing suburban driving (typically 25-40 mph) until last September... but I moved to a rural location, and now I'm going 70mph as soon as I leave home, which has impacted my range more than the age of my Pacifica.

 

There’s lots factors of temp, driving pattern , style . I’ve noticed that battery percentage indicator has said one number but when I calculate my own usage of mileage . Do you constantly pump electricity into the van all the time ?

 

I generally charge only if the battery is less than 50%, and only charge at night or on weekends when electricity is cheapest in my area.

I'm not really reading the car's battery percentage indicator at all. The 9.9 kWh figure is what my charging station is reporting to me as the amount of charge sent to the car to get it from 0% to 100%. The 20 mile figure is the actual distance of the commute, calculated using Google Maps.

 

The amount of electricity you pump into battery has a lot of factors to consider . You should let the battery drain periodically because it never goes below stc. Then plug it in and charge it up fully and see what kind mileage your getting .

 

My Juicebox is called Costco fuel and it's very quick

 

I've had a 2020 and now a 2021. Both have generally drawn about 13.5 kWh for a full charge repoted by my JuiceBox EVSE. Can't speak to how much degradation occurs yet.

We routinely get about 20 miles out of a full charge on our 2020 hybrid. It's been that way since day 1 of buying it, regardless of temp. It may fluctuate 2-5 actual miles based on weather, but nowhere near the advertised rate. I saw somewhere that when looking at miles advertised on EV's, you should use a figure of 60% to determine actual yield in miles available to drive.

 

Is that all in one trip or multiple trips?

I've had my 2018 PacHy for 2 1/2 years and I gauge the range by driving it on the highway at 70 mph. I was able to get 30 miles without using climate control every time.

Try charging it full, then go for a straight drive without traffic at 65 mph to 70 mph and see what you get. If you only get <25 miles in the Spring - Fall, there may be something wrong with your battery. Also keep your cold tires at least 36 psi.
