Looks like the thread is still active. Abal77 posted here 15 hours ago (above). They mentioned they had contacted a law firm about their engine failure in another thread and never got back to us, so thought I'd ping them from here.

In 2020, I had to replace the engine due to a cracked engine block, ~78k miles on it. Never overheated.

I’m replying here in case this is still or becomes active.

I contacted a class action law firm and never heard anything back. I also tried with lemon law as I’m in California and I have a bit more protection but the first time the radiator blew was just outside the warranty window. If it would have been a few months earlier, I would have had a case. It’s frustrating. I sold the car to a clunker. I kept all my paperwork and will participate in anything that comes up in the future but for now I can’t go any further unfortunately

2019 Pacifica Touring L Plus. 92,000 miles. PO305 Cylinder 5 Misfire code
Had the engine replaced (REMAN) and about $8500 its back to normal. Once the warranty on this one expires I'm selling it and Stellantis moves from the top of my list down to the bottom where their quality belongs.

If you have a 2017+ Pacifica that has required a motor replacement in under 100,000 miles please list the following in this thread. Regardless if it was covered under warranty.
1. Year model
2. Trim level
3. Milage

I’m preparing a list to provide to an attorney for a class action lawsuit. I currently have 53 confirmed cracks in engine blocks due to a possible casting error in the blocks itself with milage less than 70k miles.
1. 2018
2. Limited FWD with auto start/stop non hybrid version
3. Blew at 75,000

2018 Chrysler Pacifica Limited 45,642 miles Warped engine block cylinder #5 causing coolant to leak into the cylinder. I was forced to pay $3000 to have them tear down the engine. I declined the $18K estimate to replace the motor and instead donated to Habitat for Humanity for a $6K tax write-off. They asked me if I wanted to put the engine back together for another $1000. I was also told that another customer was paying $25K to replace their engine and it has taken over a year. I don't understand who would think that makes any financial sense. Absolutely a piece of crap. I should have bought a Honda or Nissan mini-van.

2018 Pacifica Sport Touring 92k miles. Same issue, coolant leak from a crack in the long block. How do I join?
There are no class-action lawsuits for this, so you can't join.

2017 Pacifica. Bought brand new in 2017. Had head gasket replaced at 40k miles in 2022 ($3800). Now I am at 70k miles and it has blown again. Being told 5k to repair, but if they find warping it will be 20k to replace the engine. I think we are going to just get a new car and keep our ears to the ground for a CA lawsuit

I'm dealing with a head gasket cylinder issue might need a new engine but can't get a full diagnosis unless I take full engine out mechanic did a scope and said looks like possible crack in cylinder. I'm still trying to figure out my next steps on moving forward regarding repairs.. I have a 2017 Chrysler pasifica Touring L Plus with 139000 km I am in Canada.

Hi folks. Unfortunately you are responding to a thread started by Wesg1989 on December 19, 2021, and that was their last post on this 2017+ Pacifica Forums. There does not appear to be a class-action lawsuit in the works anywhere. IMHO, there isn't a lawyer out there that will touch it as Chrysler can say it is a maintenance issue. Yes, class actions typically don't begin in public forums. They begin in an attorney's office, and the parties refrain from discussing the case publicly to avoid undermining it.

People who post content like this: https://www.pacificaforums.com/posts/717335/ have no idea what they are doing and think they can scare a corporation into doing what they want. It is comical and shows that they have a zero understanding of how the world of business and legal systems operates.
