I did it, and I'm glad I did. I ordered the Ultra 2 GTR headlights, DRL (doubles as high beam), and fog lights. WOW! What an amazing difference! I only need to read more about adjusting the beam pattern for the high beam lights. It throws light way up into the trees and is much rather have it concentrated farther down the road. Maybe there's no adjusting it because it's the DRL as well. I want to order the taillights and reverse. I ordered taillights with this order but they sent me the wrong bulbs. I need to return them.

Just got my van picked up from the docks. And not even 8hrs of having it is all ready all LEDs upgrade it and ceramic tinted..

this is the 9005 low beams

here it is LED installed with the driver box and connections wire all tucked away inside the housing before putting back the dust cover

not a great picture but here is a sample of my beam pattern of the 9005 GTR Ultra 2 low beam in the projectors and H11 SV.4 yellow fogs.. both very nice beam pattern and very bright .. definitely worth very penny.. now this is how it should come from factory.. also did my led front turn signals, led side markers and led rear tails and led reverse..

Reviving this thread as I am looking to upgrade my low beams to LED as well. Both the LED lights recommended on this thread - the SNGL and the GTR Ultra 2 are quite expensive. Are those the only two choices to get a good lighting pattern? Does anyone here have a recommendation for a cheaper set of low beam LED headlights that work reasonably well?

Honestly, it definitely worth your money in the long runs...You probably use your low beams 90% of the time while driving at night.. I think for $200 a pair of GTR Ultra 2 it’s a tad pricey at first but the quality and performance of the headlight are just amazing... there are lots of cheaper led headlights bulbs on the market like eBay, Amazon but nothing quality and performance unknown, hate to spend $100 for a pair and they are ficker out , they are to dim to use as driving lights with incorrect beam pattern etc. and now you end up try to buy another brand to replace the ones you just bought. Now your out more money while is still unknown... so in the long run better to spend the money up front knowing your are getting exactly what you pay for... just my 2cents🤷🏻‍♂️

Thank you for you input.. do you think plug in LED like GTR ultra 2 would be an option since I don’t think have to run relays and canbus decoder plus everything I thin would fit under the dust cover of the headlight?

I personally would go with HID over LED in a projector, I've been retrofitting headlights for over a decade and never seen any led of any grade out perform a good HID bulb. GTR Ultra 2 is not that great for the price I know of much better products for smaller price.

I sell better.

Also you'll get a better light patter with am HID kit.

Thanks. Isn't HID replacement more complicated though? One reason I am exploring LED upgrade is because I find the existing halogens to be not as bright and I do like whiter light. I also came across whiter halogens (Sylvania Silver star) which might be an easy replacement. Is that a better option compared to LED or HID?

I do agree with you I have been doing retrofits for over 10 year on all my personal vehicles and friends vehicle.. but in some case and Application and money budget lots of normal people won’t spend money on headlight to some other people would like myself... but as for the most normal guys just want to upgrade there heading for beam out put and plug and play GTR Ultra 2 are the way to go.. if some don’t mind spend $$$$ on ther headlight you can do a full retrofit projector swap with Morimoto LED projects and custom every to your liking which requires a lot of mods and not so much plug and play...

Yes your absolutely right.. lot more complicated then the LEDs .. also with HID you have or run a wiring harness and drill the dust cover so your wire can run to the ballast .. and if someone tells you don’t have to run a wiring harness for the HID like a really and fuse power.. I would turn away ... just my experiences and 2cent.. that’s why me as a 2020 Hybrid Pacifica owner myself went with GTR cuz simple plug and play, fits behind the dustcover and great performance .. about 15mins to install...

Here it is installed , and the beam pattern ... low beams is GTR Ultra 2 and fogs are yellow SV.4 all LED plug and play.. about 30mins install for both

just curious I like to see which LED product is better than the GTR Ultra 2 to fit plug and play in our Pacifica’s... please I did so much research on this I really wanted to see if there’s and comparable ones .. I am curious now??

Got it. Any reason you didn't go with white halogens? They should also give cooler light temperature and good pattern. They are plug and play as well. What am I missing going that route?

First of all I have no idea why our Hybrid Pacifica even came with Halogens form factory know it’s not efficient you efficient at all.. I get it the cost for it but hey we are paying close $45-60k for the van I expected it to have at least LEDs for the tail light and side markers ect.. and HID headlights.. but halogens are so old and cheapest way to cost the cost.. I would stay away for the halogens if I was you.. after time the whitish color fade plus The stock halogens are probably brighter than the whitish color .. I would just leave it stock or upgrade to LEDs and at that point just get the GTR ultras and you will be happy with the results and your will for about the money you spend for it in a month from now lol.. but I guarantee you you’ll like the beam pattern and performance of it

Truth about HID/LED, HID if done correctly is easier and much faster to install then LED. Almost all LED bulbs are designed to function in a fog light, some companies, Diode Dynamics, Morimoto, GTR Lighting all knew to have a good functioning led bulb for low beams they'll have to seperate the module (ballast) from the bulb. Led is harder mostly because the seat tabs tend to be thicker and harder to fit the small tab slots also led bulbs have to be clocked correctly for low beams since they are clocked for fog light. I learned by doing it for years. HID are easier install as long as you do it correctly, doing it correctly does require drilling a hole in the dust cap for the seal and wires to pass through.

Running the led module inside the dust cap totally defeats the purpose of why they designed them to be seperate. Heat is led bulbs biggest fault.

That’s why I recommend GTR light there LED build seat correctly in the housing and if for some reason they don they have a set screws to clocking the right seating for the buld to aim perfectly so your hot spot in the beam pattern is perfect.

All LED bulbs have adjustable post for that reason, I know HID out performs led in projectors. I use a lux meter to test output not eye sight, everyone sees differently. Like if you have sensitive eyesight you'll see better with a warm light, if you have excellent eye sight cooler white color will be more appealing to your sight.

From what I understand the module is a driver .. it beat drilling my dust cap and potentially if not don’t properly could lead to condensation in your headlights... which most guys out there will DIY install and could possibly condensate and the average owner of a Pacifica won’t through their dust cover or run a wiring harness just to run HIDs they want plug and play..
