How to get right part for my pacifica. Is it still going to be p68316174AB and 68351931AH . Some says with out navigation but gives these same part numbers. I have with Navigation feature which I am not using as I didn't get the key intentionally..

I think navigation is a pay to unlock feature so the same model numbers for both.

I just received the display pulled from a 2019, I confirm the part number is still p68316174AB. I can't speak for the receiver/processing unit as I found a good deal on a 2018.

When you say display, is it just only the screen or it did come with the complete kit with AC grills?

I think you can swap the display into the existing kit. However, I've never done it so take it for what it's worth.

have a extra FAKRA cable ordered from China because I gave up on doing my own conversion (from a 2017) and went with the infotainment upgrade kit that came with one. I actually didn't find the one infotainment sent me in the box right away (my fault didn't look hard enough but it was there lol) so I used the one I ordered from overseas and this extra one is from the Kit from infotainment. Yours if you want it.

I have the 8.4 RA3 unit but didn't pay to activate the NAV as the salesman agreed I could use my smartphone map. NOT...
Just discovered this forum on upgrading the RA3 to RA4 and find it fascinating and informative. I have talked to Infotainment who wants $1600 for the upgrade from 2017 Pacifica to 2018 RA4. Then also searched wrecking yards and found the 2018 screens for approx. $300. When I called and asked about the head unit, if that is correct? He said as fast as they come in Infotainment buys them and we know the markup they get. He said they sell to Infotainment $250-300. So if I can get both of them from the wrecking yard it would be approx. $600 vs $1600? Wow that is quite a markup. I am trying to filter through all the. postings to see the best place to purchase and also if I can find a 2019 unit to go with that? Sure do appreciate all of your input/feedback that may help me in my quest.

Well, it‘s a bit special because it‘s a Brazilian head unit (part # 68351935AI) and I bought it because it has DAB (comparable to HD). Also, it was cheaper than the „normal“ head units (800$).
No special reason I bought a 2019 instead of 2018 - only this unit was available.
The retrofitting is the same as when going from 2017 to 2018 (new fakra cable, new screen)

Out of fun I hooked up my old screen and funny enough you‘ll see the difference in resolution. I guess it‘s 4 times more pixel density with the new screen (on the old screen, only the top left quarter of the UI showed filling the whole screen)

Because I'm in Europe, I don't need the navigation feature, but I'm yearning for CarPlay (for Navigation via Apple Maps eg).
Looking at one of the Mopar parts sites (factorychryslerparts) I can see a lot of options for 2018/2019 uConnect. I don't really get the difference, but looking at
this pdf
it seems there are basically two important sales codes: UAR and UAV
UAR is the cheaper one, I guess w/o navigation, and UAV is with navigation and standard for 2018 Pacifica Limited.
Checking with TascaParts, price for UAR (part# 68308807AI) is $773.90 plus the bezel (I'm not sure which one is required to upgrade from 2017 PacHy Limited) with example part# 68316175AB for $295.26
Any advice or confirmation? Should I be fine with 68308807AI and 68316175AB? Will it be compatible with my UConnect theater package?

Well, I have the 2020 8.4" Infotainment system & I'll be looking for any distinct differences between it and the 2017 I had. I think you guys are doing a heck of a job trying to come up with solutions that benefit 2017 owners, and providing detail as to how to do it.

No, I think the Pacifica is only exported to UAE and Russia, but not available in Europe.

I don't think so because I was able to use a 2019 processor with a 2018 screen

I bought the 7 inch screen and receiver. the wiring harness is different and the receiver comes connected to the screen . There was no place for the video cable. If anyone wants the 7 inch screen and receiver from a 2019 let me know.
